Fix For Slick Handled Beckers

I have read in several posts that BK & T's pieces have smooth grips. I recently bought a C/U 7 and agree I would be reluctant to do any serious swinging with it. However, I bought a roll of gauze tape in the tennis department of Academy. I have wrapped my Becker and this tape seems to be a perfect solution. It comes in colors. I chose black.

Hope this helps.

You can also sand blast the scales for a perfect texture in my opinion.

BKT scales are smooth, not slick.
Ethan designed them that way so long periods of work would not blister
you.

I once covered my hand in dish soap and stabbed a tree at full power with a Brute. The knife did not dislodge.

Try the sand blasting (lightly) for a better grip.

I've thought about sandblasting the scales also. Anthony, if you have done this to yours could you please post a picture of what they look like blasted. Thanks.
