fix side play

Hello all, i recently acquired a northwoods edc barlow and it has HORRIBLE side to side blade play and by the looks of it queen cutlery doesn't do much to try to fix there damaged product...does anyone know how to fix this without damaging the knife? thank you.

I have fixed this problem by squashing the pivot pin in a vice.Wrap the pin area in a piece of cloth and tighten the vice a little at a time,checking after every tighten.When the play has been removed,peen the exposed pin and sand /polish the area.

^^This. I use a piece of hard leather as a cushion for the vice jaws. Will fix you right up.
