Good evening all!

Winners!- post #88 Zemapeli won the Kershaw/Emerson! Visitor message left
Post #119 Erhodes won the fixed blade! Pm sent

It's my birthday and I want to give back to this great community. I've got two knives up today.

First one is a fixed blade from Hardedge knives. It's a tanto squall in s35vn. Black epoxied wrap with a lizard skin I think underneath. It's been lightly used and carried some.

Next is an Emerson/Kershaw CQC 6k. There's some carry marks and scratches on the blade. Solid lock up, smooth action.

Rules
-must be legally able to own these knives
-US only
- paying members may enter
- registered users who have been here since 2/17/2014 may enter
- must be an active participant in the forums, not just on the exchange or here for giveaways
-1 entry per person
-There will be two winners chosen by a random number generator.
-You may enter for the fixed blade, folder or either.

A simple "I'm in" for whichever knife will suffice. A pic of your favorite knife, daily carry, funny anecdote, life lessons, or anything extra is appreciated.

I'll close It down Monday or so, and email or pm the winners before i post them. I'll ship the knives out on Thursday.

Good luck!!

10 cool points if you read all of that!

Although I'm more a folder guy, this time I am definitely in for that fixed blade.

I did read all of that. ;)

Ive got one of hardedge's small knives really similar to the squall, that he customized for me, and it is absolutely one of my favourite EDCs. Cant speak highly of it enough, its 1095, its easy to get sharp and its tough as hell. Pretty too.
In on the collaboration folder if I qualify.

I get 10 cool points! Im in for both!!

After reading all the interesting topics and discussions I thought you guys needed something to laugh about.

At the finals of the National Poetry Competition the two finalist were an unlikely pair. Finalist number one was a Harvard educated professor of literature and the winner of several previous competitions. Finalist number two was a young Marine Lcpl. from the hills of West Virginia who needed help filling out the entry form. The final round consisted of each competitor being given the same word and having thirty seconds to complete a verse, using the word.

The Professor went first. The Judge said, " The final word this year is ' Timbuktu' " The Prof. started thinking. Ten seconds went by. Twenty seconds. The crowd became nervous. After twenty eight seconds the Prof. began,
Across the hot Sahara sand,
Trekked the dusty caravan.
Men on camels, two by two,
Destination- Timbuktu.

The crowd went wild, there was no way that the Hillbilly Marine would ever top that. The Lcpl. was brought on stage. The judge gave the word, " Timbuktu. The young Lcpl. looked to the sky, he thought for 1 0 - 1 5 seconds, stepped up to the microphone, cleared his throat, and began,
Tim ' en me, a-hunting went,
Met three girls in a pop-up-tent,
They was three and we was two,
So, I bucked one and Tim Buck Two!

Looks like "I'm in" and good luck!:D Happy Birthday

I'm in for the folder!

Recent life lesson: Microtech knives work well in a "OMG I have to cut these underwear off in a public restroom" situation.

That's a nice looking little fixed blade, I'm in for it. Thanks for the chance and happy birthday!

Sure, I'm in. Thanks.

CHANGE 57! Count me out! I just won a knife. Give someone else a chance. Besides, I don't think I can be in on this GAW. I'm cheap, I need to become a paying member. Good luck, everyone!
