Anybody here ever make a fixed blade small Sebenza style knife? I carry Sebenza that I've used to breast ducks and small game but hate the folder clean up task.
A Sebenza style blade with a more ergonomic handle might be perfect. Add a finger choil/groove/hilt to help grip and keep hands from slinding forward. Definitely a slicer and not hard use.
Seeing if anyone played/made something like this and if worked well.

The two new CRK fixed blades coming out are pretty nice. Have you seen the bird/fish knife?

I look in the knifemakers for sell forum for bird/trout size knives. I’ve gotten several that are sized for small game.
I’ve got a CRK camper that came from Blade Show. Here’s a pic of it along with a large Inkosi and a Big Chris.

I think that is the “Backpacker?” How do you like it?

That’s it, drew a blank on the name. I’m at work and don’t have the box in front of me.
Love the knife, it’s a keeper for sure. Ironically, it’s the first CRK I own in S45VN. I’ve never been fond of some of the newer fixed blades that CRK has offered, but this one checks all the boxes for me.

I’m really looking forward to getting the Backpacker when it is available here in Canada. Congrats on the score at BS.
Hope all is well, sir. It’s been a while.

That bird and trout might be what I'm looking for! I had a Nayala and still have a Ubajane and Mountaineer but they are too thick and big. But to cool to get rid of!
