Looking to add another fixed blade knife. Will be a general purpose survival/bushcraft/maybe hunting knife.

I like that sort of knife with about a 5" blade, give or take a little.

For reference, I already have Mora knives and a few cheap hunting knives (Buck, Remington), but looking for something a little nicer and better built but don't want something so expensive I'd worry about losing it in the woods.

Agree with above and add the schrade sch40 I believe. The model designed by mist walker here I on the forum.

What about the Sog Northwest ranger? I don't have one but it looks kind of nice.

The SOG NW Ranger is a nice knife. I have one of the old ones with the partially serrated edge. I don't use it for much of anything as I don't care for partially serrated knives. I bought it because I didn't really know what I really liked and the partially serrated edge was something new to me and I figured if they were being made that way, they must be a good design.

The Kabar Becker recommendations BK-15, BK-16, or BK-17 are sound. I have a -15 and -16 and can attest to their overall quality.
