Fixed Blade Bowie suggestions?

What style are you looking for?

KaBar Heavy Bowie

And again, as others have said:
Becker BK9
Ontario SP10 Marine Raider Bowie

Do you have any particular size, handle material, steel, or price in mind? Is it for use as a camp knife, part of some kind of reenactment costume? For actual use, or as an investment to put back and wait for the price to increase?

Without any more details than you have given:

Randal Alamo Bowie
Ontario SP-10
Cold Steel Trailmaster
Puma Bowie
Marine Combat Utility (Kabar)
Cooper Iron Mistress
Cold Steel 12" Bowie Machete
Case Bowie
Western Bowie

Winchester Bowie
Gil Hibben Rambo 3
Rough Rider Bowie

Start with those. I'm sure that one or the other will fill the bill for you.

(Sorry, I'm high on pain medication right now. No sarcasam was intended)

right sorry I typed that up real quick on my way out the door earlier, No real prefrence however, more of a fighting bowie.

thanks guys

Becker BK9 fits the bill and you can do camp stuff as well...

Well....since Bowie's Sandbar knife was a beefed up kitchen knife....I suggest getting a chef's knife. A Forschner would be a good, reasonably priced choice.

If you are looking more for something they fought with in the movies, I'd go with a United Cutlery Gil Hibben Old West Bowie ($75) or a Master Cutlery Alamo Bowie ($70). Historically inaccurate, but they seem to be what most people mean when thay say "fighting bowie."

check out mineral mountain hatchet works (mmhw) Ted Frizzell makes a bunch of bowies out of 5160.
