So my infatuation with blades was rekindled a few weeks back, and I joint this forum (I think again) yesterday. As a fixed blade guy, I promptly went thru all 334 pages of a fixed-blade picture thread, to see what was happening, and looking for a specific type of blade… to my surprise, I did not find it. I did see a lot of Busse and Sykco knives - the latter caught my interest a long time ago, but never actually got one. Also found other Dutch knifenuts visit this place.
But I did not find any Calico Forge MK knives, not a single one…
Yes, I know that should tell me something. Yes, I know there was a story with the blade smith who crated them.
But I would still like to get one.
Should I, or are there better knives of similar traits out there?
Any hands-on experience and advice?
For reference, I have a couple of Molletta pre-Lionsteel knives that were available in small batches only (MCKF2 in Calmax, Nexus Tito in A8Mod and KR Rasul in Vanadis 23). (I would post pictures, but seems you cant upload them here…)
