fixed blade carry in arkansas

im looking to start carrying a fixed blade knife,but arkansas has a 3 1/2 in limit.if i carry the knife openly,does it still have to be under the limit, or can i carry something a little bigger,like a randall model 1 (a guy can dream,cant he?)

If I read the AR code correctly, about the only time you can carry a blade over 3 1/2 inches is a bonafide hunting/fishing knife when participating or traveling to or from those activities. And of course you can carry a blade over 3 1/2 inches on your own property.

I camp and fish in AR and have been warned that the police in AR are very strict about knives.

I'd keep your blades under 3 /12 inches if I were you.
