Fixed Blade Carry in Illinois, is it concealed and if so does it matter?

Hey all, I live in northern Illinois and I carry fixed blades most of the time now to compliment the folder I'm also carrying. My question is if I wear it on my belt but only the tip of the sheath sticks out from underneath the loose outer shirt that I wear is it considered concealed and if it is does it matter? I'm a computer geek but half my work is light construction and I use my fb to cut wire, drywall, cappachino cups.. everyday, it's not for self defense. My usual carry lately has been a SwampRat Rodent 4, a Busse AMS, or a Busse AD if it matters. (And a SR Vex as soon as I get a sheath made for it.) I mostly try to hide it around sheeple but it's mostly so I don't scare anyone, not because of the legality of it and oddly enough most of the time my folder has a longer blade than the fixed I'm carrying..

ps. I wouldn't go to a hellhole like Chicago, knife or no, so I'm talking about Illinois in general..
