Hey Mike....

Well again I couldn't post to a thread..I apologize for taking away from your thread.. Look at it as a Part 2..:)

A properly designed sheath should do pretty much every and any carry you could possibly want...

Depending on the blade size,, lets say a Fallkniven Garm for instance...I know some of these carries for a double edged knife are redundant.

A True multi-carry sheath such as mine will do

Neck, Horizontal, upside down horizontal, 45 degree forward cant/45 degree reverse cant, vertical, inverted, inverted edge forward/edge back, forward/reverse cant,IWB/OWB, static line and whatever else you can dream up. Not to mention Fully ambidextrious<SP?> and mini Tek-lok friendly.

What would you like it to do ?
If it's not there, I'll make it do it..
Except webbing droppers and strapping.

A sheath, especially a synthetic sheath should be able to do it all in one neat simple,,easy to understand package,,without clips and strange attachments which are complicated to figure out.. The sheath should also convert in minutes to whatever carry you need...

Very informative Eric. I am looking to get a more versatile sheath for a neck knife of mine in the near future. Yours look very interesting indeed.

By the way, they are my heroes too, along with all the firefighters and police that sacrificed their lives so other would live (just something on Eric's web site in case this  anyone).
