I know it largely depends on the current law of your state (or town,or country whatever) I started carrying a BLACKJACK GRUNT, then switched to a SWAMP RAT HOWLING RAT and as of today I now ama proud owner of a FALLKINIVEN NL4 "FREJ" from the Northern lights series. I am really impressed with it.
and of course I also add 1-2 folders in my E.D.C.
 
Congrats. I've been carrying my Swamp Rat M6 on the belt or on a Mercharness for awhile now and I really like it. Can't wait to get a Badger Attack TAC to try it with too. Fixed blades rule!
 
I'm eagerly awaiting a Bark River Mini Canadian, which I'm going to try as an edc. It's small enough that it should edc about as easily as a folder.
