Fixed blade EDC in NC?

I'd recommend you use the updated version maintained by the state government instead of that 6 year old third-party link:

But the answer is a partial "yes." This law makes it illegal to concealed carry a bowie knife, dirk or dagger, which generally speaking covers fixed blade knives. The exception offered at the end of the statute specifically describes a folder only.

You can carry an FB openly of course, provided it's legal in your county and city.
