Fixed blade EDC in Ontario?

During the winter, with my mild arthritis, it would be much easier if I switch my folding EDC to a fixed blade. I like my Buck Woodsman for this, it is small and light, but I don't want to create legal problems. I did some research (ala google), but the knife laws in Ontario seem a little vague. I'm not too keen on phoning the OPP with this as I really don't want to come across as a person they need to keep an eye on; maybe I just worry too much. Anyway, does anyone know if my Buck Woodsman would be legal to carry (on my belt) around town? If it's not, what's a good fixed blade that would be? Thanks!

Some specs for the Buck Woodsman:
blade length: 4 in.
overall length: 8 in.
weight: 2.5 oz.

Knife laws are Federal, part of C-68 in the Criminal Code. I'm unaware of any Provincial laws on knives. There are, however, numerous municipalities that restrict the carrying of knives. Fortunately, by-law are not criminal and are only fine-able.

Just to clarify, if you are openly carrying a fixed blade, non-prohibited knife the only law they can really charge you with is:

Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose

88. (1) Every person commits an offence who carries or possesses a weapon, an imitation of a weapon, a prohibited device or any ammunition or prohibited ammunition for a purpose dangerous to the public peace or for the purpose of committing an offence.

So as long as you're not being a jackass, you should be ok.
