fixed blade for EDC

ok I was thinking that about a fixed blade with a 4 or so inch blade for EDC. I like this one. any others i should consider? I live in NH if i carried it in the small of my back would that be CCW and/or illegal i am 17? my budgit is about $160. thank's
 
Most states have a maximum allowable blade length of 3.5". I would also advise that you choose a blade that is "sheeple friendly" in both appearance and name. I don't know the laws in your particular state, but these are general guidelines. Hope it helps.

Really? Ouch. I figured it was at least 4". It's 5.5" in Texas though you NEVER see anyone carry such a knife exposed. Of course I have never even once in my life seen anyone carrying a fixed blade in an urban/suburban environment even here when our knife laws are more relaxed than most placed and folders clipped to the pocket or sheathed on a belt are quite common even in the city.

That's a fine knife. Looks like a flat grind... is it? I'm not big on combo edges but other than that I'd carry it. I wish I could carry a fixed blade for EDC. I have carried one (CRK Shadow IV) in the past for EDC but I eventually stopped carrying it because it's just so much hassle. It's not as comfortable and you can't whip it out and use it in front of anyone else.
