Fixed blade Griptilian, the size of the regular Griptilian

When I first got into "good" knives, I soon found the quality of Benchmade products. I had many different models, some that saw use, others that just sat. I settled on my favorite, a good old Griptilian. I've had the 550/555, 551/556, and the Ritter Griptilians. I finally settled on the Ritter Grip as my favorite. The fixed blade Grip and fixed blade Ritter Grip came along, and while nice knives, they were not my idea of a fixed blade Griptilian. A fixed blade Grip should be about the size of a regular Griptilian folder, maybe a hair bigger, with the same basic blade/handle design. I really thought the plain Rant drop point hit the nail on the head for the fixed blade Griptilian. I'd still like to see a fixed blade Grip, about the same size and design as the regular 551 or Ritter Grip.

Any thoughts as to whether that would work or not? I've also mentioned in the Spyderco forum that I'd like to see a fixed blade Native III, same size and ergo handle. Some folders just look like they would make good fixed blades.

That's something I've thought about and I agree. I love my fixed blade Griptilian but have often thought a smaller version should be available. I think it would be great if the fixed Grip were available in two sizes, like how the Snody Activator fixed blades were.

I agree, I love my Fixed Griptilian but I often do not use it because it is a little large. If they had a slightly smaller blade I would absolutley love it to death

What about a neck knife sized version?.
