Fixed Blade karambit?

Hey guys,

There was recently a thread about a guy looking for a folding karambit, however I'm looking for a fixed.

Couple questions:

Is strider still making the PS karambit? I cannot find any dealers that still sell that model, and that one appeals to me most (even though I think it's price is awfully high.)

Any views on the crawford karambit? It looks like a copy of the strider.

And also the keen edge karambit's? They seem to be the best option at the moment. Though the wrapped handle is a turn off for me...

Any other opinions?

Thanks,
-Richard.

I have this Reese Weiland Karambit folder that is awesome. I was considering trading it for a Tanto Umnum, but I'm not sure....

I got my strider tarani karambit here, it's my favorite blade. Just get a practice karambit to twirl with as this one is a double edged razor, I know;)

Unfortunately the disclaimer at the top of the page says;

"Please Note: As of December 31, 2009, this website remains open for information purposes only. No sales after this date. We hope to make the Tarani Aluminum Control Device (ACD) and other items available through another site soon and will link for your convenience. Thank you for your patience. K.D.C."

While that is a wicked nice folding (I dig the framelock) karambit I am looking for a fixed.

My Valiant kerambit took quite a bit of careful grinding to get sharp, but it's luverly:

International shipping costs might put some off though.

I'm not sure if threads this far back are ever read, but CS makes a 5' blade fixed Kerambit called the Steel Tiger. [CS haters don't bother telling me it's crap, as I have one and it's a devastating slasher]

The steel tiger is pretty nice, AUS8 with cold steels reliable heat treat, radiused grind end towards the handle, decent thickness, FRN grivory as handle on the tang and kraton on the middle of that.

I have a scar on the back of my hand from the Steel Tiger--tried spinning it around when I first got it. It barely glanced the back of my hand, but it cut me like a scalpel. :) Great knife.

Nobody ever mentions this one, but check out the TOPS Scorpion's Tail. I have one with the micarta slabs and it was my EDC for several months. It's double edged though.
