Good day all,
I'm a new member, so apologies if I misstep any rules or etiquette as I learn the ropes.
I inherited about 20 or so knives from an uncle who passed away and I'm slowly working my way through them trying to identify them and likely sell some of the non sentimental blades. I've figured out a lot of them, but I'm stumped on a pair. They both look very similar in design, but have no makers mark or engraving at all on the blade.
The first is about 8" long, with a blade about 4". It has some sort of bush or foliage type engraving on the wood handle.
The second is about 7.5" long with a 3.25" blade, which appears to be Damascus. No engraving on the wood handle.
Pics attached.
There is a SMALL chance these could be early Don Hanson's work as I found a number of cards from him in the box of knives from his early forging days.
If anyone has any idea about these, I'd be all ears. Thanks in advance.
-Andy
