I'm looking for a better way to store my many fixed blade knives. I'm wondering what has been successful to all you other knife freaks like me. Currently using dresser drawers LOL. I use Pelican cases for my folders but I don't think you can get many fixed blades in those. Any suggestions? Brand names, etc? Thanks!!

Big ones over about 12-14" or so total length are a problem to fit into normal cases. I store my knives (the good ones) in silicone sleeves inside plastic boxes (called "Really Useful" boxes) that are translucent so I can see generally what's in there without opening. Large Pelican cases would work, but are expensive. The stuff I don't care much about are in a rubber maid tub (actually several as it contains boxes too) which I dig though a couple times a year.
