How's it going im an everyday knive user and have not owned any decent fixed blades im liking the KA-BAR series of fixed blades i have a folder of theres i got recently and love it but buck knives really catch my eye. Out of all of them the model 119 special with leather sheath it can be found here

Its maid in the USA like all buck knives which im really liking about it looks like a good wall display knive or general belt duty any thoughts ?

if im not using them for hunting is there a point other than collection or general duty?

It's a fine knife and a good value. If not mistaken, i think Les Stroud has used that knife in recently aired episodes.

Kabar's are good as well. They also make the Becker line, which is well reviewed and affordable. Checkout their subforum here and the Wilderness and Survival Skills subforum.

There are also many quality custom makers here that make high-quality tools at very reasonable prices.

Think about how you will use the knife, as that will help in your decision making process - i.e. camp chores, food prep, hunting/field dressing, skinning, wood chopping/batoning. bushcraft (notching, cordage, etc.).

Welcome to the search for your holy grail :)
