I do a lot of canoeing and have been using the hell out of my Izula II but it's really not optimal for being constantly in contact with water. It's too bad because it's the perfect blade shape and handle design for what I'm doing. I'm a newish knife maker and have some 154cm and 440c on order to make some of my own. I will probably just make something very similar to the Izula II only in stainless.
I wouldn't mind getting a nice production model though. I was looking at the Benchmade Snody Activator 210(iirc) and it looked to fit the bill okay. Anyone have any other ideas of other models I could look at? Blade length of 2.5in aprox and overall of 6in aprox. I prefer to have a decent handle on it if possible.
