Hello, my friend recently gifted me with a TOPS Mini-Scandi and although it makes a great neck knife I was hoping to get some ideas to make it a pocket carry knife. The knife is small (2.5" blade) so it shouldn't be a problem with the size. I just need ideas for sheath build and possibly some pictures of some pocket carried fixed blades. Thanks guys!

A picture is worth a thousand words.....or something like that. Pocket carry sheath. Pictured below is an idea starter for you. Fully leather lined, can be with or without an inlay, any color leather, tooled or plain, with or without the clip.

Wow, thanks Paul! That's a good looking sheath. I'm thinking about maybe trying to make a wider sheath for better retention in the pocket.

Here is my knife and its pocket sheath with a Leatherman PST. No imprint in the front right pocket, I'm very happy with it. The knife I made from an old circular saw blade and handles were an old pair of Khakis and fiberglass resin. Overall length of the sheath with the knife is 7.75". I only wish I included another compartment for a slim flashlight or pen. Only downside, the newer style jeans which are inherently slimmer have shallow pockets.

For a production sheath like what you want, look up KSF.
The Adirondak fits a Street Beat or BK11 quite well.
