About a week ago I got my first knife from Max Burnett of OGG custom knives. Today, my second arrived...its a wharncliffe style utility knife. I originally wanted a neck sheath, and then Max aked if I would like to try a back pocket sheath...after hearing his idea, I thought it sounded ok, so I said yes. It works great, just slides into the back pocket of my jeans, out of the way, and perfectly comfortable. Im glad he asked about that, as I think I will really enjoy this mode of carry.

Onto the knife, blade lenghth is a little over 2 3/4 inches and about 6 1/8 OAL. It has plenty of holes in it since some people, myself included like the looks, and to keep it light wieght, but im sure Max will do it however ya want. Blade style is wharncliffe. All the way around the edges/corners are just slightly smoothed for comfort, and the only sharp edge is the cutting edge, and it is sharp. Another first rate knife from a fine maker and good person.

I should point out that the blade is hollow ground to a nice fairly thin edge....the blade is almost mirror polished and its real hard to see the hollow grind in the pic...I will try and get a better pic tomorrow to replace it.

Richard,
nice knife! While I'm not a big fan of the holes (apologies to Tom Mayo & Neil Blackwood

), I like everything else.

What is the height from edge to spine? Does it carry well in the front pocket too? Have you tried attaching a lanyard and doing a quick-draw using that?

Ok, so I lied...took another pic of it just now, so hopefully the grind shows up better. I have not tried anything but back pocket carry yet. I did put it in my front pocket...its just a tad to big. It fits good, but makes ya a little nervous when you sit down...so back seems to work best.
