I suppose this isn't the type of outdoor equipment typically asked about in these parts, but gardening is an outdoor endeavor, so thought I would ask here. I am on the hunt of a fixed blade, hawkbill pruning knife. Ideally with a blade no longer than 3-1/2 inches, full or skeletonized tang, and under $50. These aren't deal breaking factors, more like 'It would be nice if...' Other 'It would be nice if...' include carbon steel blade, natural handle material, lanyard hole, sheathe, etc. Again, not deal breakers.
I haven't had much luck combing the internet. Mora appears to have a 2-1/2 inch hawkbill. But that's just about all I'm finding. Everything else turns out to be a folding pruner. Do fixed blade pruning knives still exist? Please help me find out what is out there.
