Fixed Blade(s) Question

I haven't to date owned a custom Emerson fixed blade. I have handled them before but I forget what side grind they predominately were. Could anyone enlighten me? Also, are double ground versions more rare? TIA.

The Emerson fixed blades are typically ground on what most refer to as the left side which is the same as his folders, both custom and production. There are several rare (two confirmed?) right hand grind fixed blades out there. I would say that any double ground Emesron fixed blade, be it tactical or pre-tactical, would indeed be very rare... Why do you ask? (hands rubbing together feverishly)

Thank you for the info. I am ambidexterous but favor my left hand for knifework. It's interesting to know that most of Ernie's fixed blades are lefty ground. I knew that about the folders but wasn't sure about the big guys.

Unfortuantely, I do not have a lead on any super rare fixed blade at the moment, but the suspects will be the first to know if I come across one.
