Is there one (say small fixed blade - 3-4 inch)?

I know this is a newbie question.

Thanks.

The profile of the Busse Active Duty is pretty similar to the sebenza.

Scott Cook makes two fixed blades very similar to the Sebenza's profile. Scott got his start with CRK.

I love to EDC a small fixed blade, so I have looked at lots of these knives.

The one touted as a fixed blade Sebenza would be the Scott Cook Owyhee Hunter. Check out his site here:

Benchmade's Nimravus Cub makes a nice EDC, but I didn't care much for the sheath, so I got some custom kydex from Eric at On/Scene Tactical.

I just recently got an INFIcoot (a special version of the Swamp Rat Bandicoot) and hope to get a Busse Active Duty also. I am ordering leather sheaths for both from "leatherman" here on the boards.

My current EDC fixed blade is the knife in my avatar: a Trace Rinaldi Enigma! It came with a kydex sheath with a tek-lok and makes for a great EDC blade. It might not be the best option considering Trace isn't taking orders and there aren't many Rinaldis on the secondary market.

EDIT: Wow! Two people suggested Scott Cook as I was typing this post!

I would also look at the Busse active duty. It's small, legal in most states, great blade shape, great handle ergos, is RAZOR sharp and is backed by the BEST warrantee in the Business. I carry one regularly in an aftermarket kydex sheath. I usually wear it horizontally. Just my two cents. Here is a pic

One of Scott's Owyhee hunters is the logical choice. The grinds are beautifully done, the fit & finish is flawless, sheaths are excellent and they cut like scalpels. I can give Scott a big thumbs up all around. The attention to detail is nothing short of amazing.

Hate to be obvious, but don't forget about Bob DOZIER when talking about small fixed blades. Prices are right, too.

I know that you won't believe me, but the Fallkniven WM1 is EXACTLY the same size and profile as the Small Sebenza.

You just try to put one on top of the other, these knives are similar down to the millimeter. The only difference is that the Sebenza has a square handle where the WM1 ends in a "pointed" shape.

Just for fun check out the new Ontario/Randall TAK. It's not a Sebbie but its not $300 either and looks good. Swamp Rat makes a small fixed blade too....great warranty. Less that $100 I think.

I've got the small Owyhee, and if you don't have small hands, go for the large, which still isn't all that big. The small fits my smaller-than-average hands, and carries well because of its size.
Basically a FB Sebenza with better ergos and a dropped point, which is an improvement, IMO. Wonderful little knife.
I've thought about getting the large, or maybe a Busse AD, but have a Rinaldi Gambit that kind of splits the difference between those two knives, and doesn't leave me particularly wanting either one of them...
There's a pic of the Gambit here, though it isn't in stock, and here, or you can squint real hard at the bottom knife in my avatar:p
(which is a crappy scan that got distorted a little along the way, too:()

Trace makes a great blade, doesn't he? :D

The dude simply rules, as far as I'm concerned. I love your Enigma!

My matrix is just a month away:p
