Fixed blade Spydercos

I love anything with a Spyderco brand, but Sal has rough competition. Of course, that's never bothered him in the past...
I've had a South Fork...which I sold to an Aussie... great knife, but I had no practical use for it.

I want a Big Damn Mule. The original Mule had a 3.45 inch blade, I want one with a 4.5 inch blade with various handle and blade steel options like the original Mules had. The original Mules seemed popular ... bring em back! Make 'em bigger!

Spyderco has already made my favourite fixed blade: the Phil Wilson South Fork. I'd say they're already on the right track...

Fixed Blade slightly larger Spyderco Stretch for hunting. Maybe with a hollow grind . I have posted this idea so many times I believe I'm falling into the definition of insanity.

I have more of their fixed blades than I do folders. The make great fixed blade. Line up is pretty well rounded, but a big mule sounds good.

How would "youze gize" like to see Mr. Glesser offer more fixed blade hunting/camping/trail knives??

And if so, what steels and what size?

I'll start.
A "Green River" style and/or "Kephart" style with 4.5, 5 or 6 inch blade of CPM M-4 at RC 63-64.
They already offer a lot. Also, they've offered a lot over the years, many of which get discontinued, I'm assuming because they don't sell. I've already got a few and I've had even more. I'm not dying for more fixed blades from Spyderco. Now, I would take a look if they put out more, along with everything else they make.

I have been hunting for the right fixed blade for a while. If I am paying $200+ I want a semi custom fixed blade knife. Just pulled the trigger on a new to me brand because of the mix of premium steel, premium handle material and not something you can buy everywhere. Also wanted a traditional Kephart design to try something new. Also so many brands of fixed blades that don’t cross over into folders.

I do love my spyderco collection and sprint runs. Maybe get spyderco to run a mule team in a more tempting steel than what is currently for sale? Or team up and do a collaboration with some one? I looked at spyderco fixed blades and nothing jumped out as I have to try it...

I would love to try spyderco kitchen knives but I already have good knives in the same design. Same goes for a bowie, skinning and puttko knives.

I bought a Respect Bowie in December and it hasn't left my coffee table since!

I wouldn't mind getting a backup before it disappears from shelves. I picked up a Street Bowie not too long ago as well that I haven't been using much, but fondling quite a bit.

I like me some Spyderco! :)

That's an exaggeration.

If so, it's not much of an exaggeration.

The last 2 or 3 Spydies that I considered buying had been discontinued before I had a chance to read reviews of them.:(

Hey! I'm Sal Glesser's biggest fan. But it gets frustrating that everything I take an interest in gets discontinued before I even know it's available.:(

It would be nice if all new models/steels etc were available for at least a year or two.

Which ones?

They make a few decent fixed blades, but the competition in that market is really tough right now. Lots of great options out there.

The Province and Waterway are on my list, already have several mules, aqausalt, sprig, south fork, and fish hunter.

I would be excited for a larger version of the Mule Team with varied steels.

I would be even more excited for a Perrin Street Beat/Bowie in an updated steel (BD1-N, S30V, etc.).
