Now that I have your attention :D I didn't know whether to put this here or in the General forum.... is there any chance we'll see a f/b Trance in the future? Is there anything already produced that's even remotely close to being a f/b Trance? The Edit looks pretty close but IIRC it's smaller than the Trance, no? Thanks.

Long time no see...

I have designed a Trance FB, and it's just been on paper for years now...I wouldn't mind a Trance FB either!

Going off topic, I wouldn't mind a Ti-Trance, or even a Trance with COLORED scales...:thumbup:

PS: YES, the EDIT is similar in ergonomics, but the blade is much shorter. Give it a try though...it's a good lil' FB, and you can get pretty surgical with it!

I recently gifted a Trance to my Dad, and he loves it (just like I do). I have been using FBs a lot lately and I think the Trance design would make an excellent FB.
 
As is, the Trance is a wonderful folder and highly recommended -- especially for its modest price.

But the design is so good, it deserves better.

If Boker won't do it, perhaps there is a custom maker who would.
 
I need to definitely get myself a trance again, it was an awesome knife(traded it for another knife). An upgraded version would be even better I think(PB washers, better knife steel, G10(maybe even colored!). I think a fixed Blade Trance would be cool too! Shorten the guard a bit to move the finger closer and I think you have a winner.

Also, is there anything in the pipeline for a wharncliffe that is inbetween the large G4 and the small Wharcom(and ideally with a non-coated blade)?

Hey thanks for all the support guys. How do we make this happen...hmmmmmm...well, I do believe that the Trance is to Boker what the Delica or Endura is to Spyderco. It's there to stay! However...

I have been asking for some years now regarding a Ti-Trance, and a Ti-SubCom for years...that being said:

We got the SubCom Titan, which is even available in a slippy config...so I am praying that the Trance will become the next Ti model...mmmmmmm, with a thicker blade, a larger pivot, 4 way carry...*drool*

hang in there all, I will keep trying to get this one done!

Fixed blade trance would be frakking awesome. Also different scales on the folding one. The design/pattern is extremely nice and since I'm more than interested in fixed sub 4" wharnies, a fb trance would be a dream come true.
