First time poster, long time lurker. I recently inherited 2 western knives from my dad. Both handles were falling apart, and only one had a pommel/butt cap, the other one was drilled out and missing (botched up job for sure) Would like to clean them up a tad and put new handles on them. Anyone have any leads on where to find a new pommel? Or am I just going to need to make my own somehow. Thanks.

They are not difficult to make using a file, (simple hand tools & sand paper to finish). At a decent hardware store you can find aluminum or stainless round stock. Just cut it, drill the hole, pin it and fit it. Rick welcome to the Maintenance forum. Good luck, DM
