The Zulu is my favorite pattern, just don't tell my peanut that, she'll bite me out of spite. I started off with the Case Tribal Spear in ebony, then picked up one in antique bone. An Oeser followed, then a Dr T, then a Damascus Case Tribal Spear. Now, I just got a Menefee shadow. I need to host pics, I know. I will.
For a while there, I was preoccupied with the few Zulus out there with a pen blade, similar to the old pattern Tony used to create this masterpiece. I had the chance a couple months ago to pick up an honest to God custom Bose fixed blade Zulu, the handle was finished by another famous maker who's name escapes me now. With knife orders yet to pay for, I couldn't get it (then my truck needed repairs...).
My next order, which will most likely have to wait for next year, is a fixed blade Zulu. There are a few makers I'd like to choose from, some aren't taking orders but one is toying with opening up his books. Same specs as the regular Zulu, just a little larger, especially for my big paws. This looks like it would make a great belt or neck knife.
I've seen a few other examples out there of fixed blade Zulus. Looking for the Zulu blade pattern and handle pattern, no combos or mix and match. Please share any examples you may have of fixed blade Zulus.
