How many of "the usual suspects" have any custom Emerson fixed blades? I think I have about five. I am going to order my first custom directly from Ernie-a Trident (I know, it'll be awhile), unless anyone has one collecting dust, LOL.

I have two black, tanto neck knives...one old with kydex wear on the coating and one brand new from this year's NYC show. Beautifully shaped pieces. Am surprised that they haven't elicited more interest.

I had a fixed blade. Vindicator, Specwar logo. I really like Emerson's fixed blades but I did'nt particularly like the Vindicator. Which one is the Trident?

I only have one - a Vindicator. I heard at the NYC show last November that Ernie had decided to stop making fixed blades, but I haven't confirmed that. Does anyone know if there is any truth to that rumor?

I am VERY interested in getting one of Ernie's fixed blades. I missed out on buying a Vindicator on the forums (Arkhamdrifter's?) due to my shortage of cashflow at the time. I've been contemplating ordering one from Ernie direct, since they are only $350, but I don't know if I can deal with the wait. I'm kind of wondering why Ernie doesn't have any of the fixed blades on his website. I love the looks of them (never held one), but they seem to be pretty rare.

When I last spoke to Ernie fixed blade knives was a major topic of our discussion. I don't think he any intention of discontinuing custom fixed blades unless he decided to within the past few months.

I have always liked the Phaser (I think that is the name). It kind of looks like the Timberline Aviator. I had a catalog from 93 and it had alot of fixed blades. I was going to order one, but back then I thought that the $275 was really high. If I only knew then... I emailed Emerson within the past year and got a price quote of 300, and a 3 year wait. Anyone looking to sell their Fixed blade? I could really use a good fixed blade duty knife.

I think Nyeti is refering to TRIVECTOR, unless he knows of another model out there!
His Warrior is really nice.

Emerson is still making fixed blades, I actually just got an invoice update for the Vindicator. I've handled this model once and like it because it's a big beefy knife.

I really like Ernies fixed blades-I have a Rogue Warrior, a Bodyguard, two neck knives (one large, one small), a Tigerclaw (pre production La Griffe), Tigershark (preproduction non-serrated PUK), and a Carraci Dagger. There is a model called the Trident, and this is what I will be ordering. A friend of mine used to have one and told me it was a great handling large fixed blade. It has more of an upswept blade than the Trivector or the Vindicator.

Hey Nyeti,
I wonder if that was a Persian Fighter style
Blade. Trident makes sense as a name. I'm looking at old catalog and found a CF 9 Tactical Persian. I've only seen pictures and one in a case he used to bring to shows. Looks like a real nice knife. Dunno ?
