Just an observation, but I've noticed that the high premium prices that the discontinued tactical models use to fetch a few years ago have subdued. My perception is that given the high prices a lot more came to market, putting pressure on what these knives command and subsequently the market contracted with the knives stabilising at these lower prices.
Is it just me?
 
I have noticed the high prices as well. Within the last year or so, lots of the hollow-handle OPK CRK's have been showing up on sites for crazy prices. I don't know that they've stabilized or lowered, however...

I would like at least one of the CRK one-piece knives some day, but not at those prices. I'd buy a grail 21 instead... :)
 
Be patient if you want a One Piece Knife. They do show up quite often at reasonable prices. If your expecting to pay retail when they were discontinued, you will be waiting a long time if not forever. But you do see them frequently for double the retail price and with that, you should be happy. I have had dozens of them and they Are Worth It...!!!
