I bought a CQC-7B last year (just weeks before they came out with the wave for the CQC-7, so I guess I'll need another one<G>) and am thinking of an Emerson fixed blade. I'll probably get a La Griffe. Is this meant to be a used kerambit or a "regluar' knife? In addition, I'm thinking of also getting a slightly larger one, and the only one available is the PUK. I've also looked at the Timberline Aviator. I've seen it refered to as an Emerson design in some places. Does anyone have both the Aviator and PUK? If so, how do they compare?

Thanks

I have a PUK that I really like for a quick, light utility blade. I hate the sheath it came with, so mine was custom sheathed in a great little rig by Frank at Skunkworks. I originally didn't like the PUK, but with time I found it to be a great concealed carry fixed blade. The handle feels weird at first, but it is indestructible, and I found it to be a wonderful texture when cleaning fish in sub freezing temperatures in the Sierra's. The knife also cleans up well. Overall, its a great little knife.
