Fixed blades

I have been following the exchange for Chris Reeve knives for the past couple of years and it is common to see a sebenza for sale every week or so, but you seldom see any fix blades for sale in the exchange. Maybe I'm missing something, but you see them on e-bay. Now that the one piece hollow handle are no longer made I want them. Funny, many times I past a table at a gun shows full of one piece Chris Reeve knives and never purchased one and now I want them since they are no longer made.

I bought one of the last ones (Mountaineer 1) in production, March 2010. I would grab one on ebay, some are still selling NIB with papers. You may have to pay $255 to $295, which is over the $205 original price.

You can still get many of the OPR for retail prices through dealers and ebay. Plus you see them on the exchange here, just not as often. I would decide which you want and when you see one come across here or go to the dealers, get it before they are gone !!! The Mountaineer I does seem to have been jumping in price. The 5.5" models have been holding at $255 retail ( for now ) !!!
