What is the best fixed blade I can find. I'm looking around the below 75$ price range. I love to fish about everyday and live by the ocean so It would be good if the blade is corrosion resistant. I've looked at the spyderco fixed salt blade ( forget what it's called). It's nice but I want to hear what you guys think. It would be better if you already own the blade but I will take any suggestions.

If you can afford the extra coin I hear the fallkniven H1 is good. I thought of it when I saw your moniker.

And welcome to bladeforums!

I have a Spyderco SALT fixed blade that was given to me for my birthday last year. I live on the coast and am in a salt environment. I fish and canoe and kayak and swim and do some snorkeling. The SALT has held up very well. No signs of oxidation...not even any stains. It has been in salt water many times and not washed off. The blade is a good utility design and holds an edge well. The only negative I can say about it is it had a pretty poor edge as it came from the box but a little work with a diamond hone fixed that...I am generally a fan of carbon steel and D2 but in this environment, H1 is an excellent choice...Good Luck with you search

I think the knife you are looking for is called the Spyderco Aqua Salt. I have the Spyderedge one and find it quite useful.
