Fixed Buck Age Indentification?

Yup. Post some sharp images of the knife and sheath, with particular attention to the handle and any imprints on the tang, in the Buck forum.

So you got a neutered deer that you need to tell how old he is? I think most people look at their teeth. If he is neutered I assume he is a pet and you can look at his teeth?








:D Just kidding. You might want to post in Bernard Levine's subforum here and he might be able to tell you some tricks. That or he might be able to tell you something from a picture.
 



Many Buck Fixed Blades have the model number on the blade.


That's always a good start.

I think he wants to know how old they are not what model they are.

Model number or lack thereof helps to establish the date range. there are many factors in addition to the markings. Construction style, handle material, spacer material and arrangement, etc. Your best bet is to post in the Buck subforum.
