Fixed Case at least 45 yrs old??

Can’t seem to date this tang/ricasso stamp. Its a Case 223-5 fixed knife. One dot between CASE and XX.
No periods in USA. Any thoughts?

I just browsed about 65 new/old eBay listings and found ONE with a dot between the case and the XX. That seller did not have a date listed. I’ve owned a few of these and none of mine had dots and one was a SS model. I can tell you that the originals were from 1965-1980 but I’m sure you knew that part. Think they’ve made a few iterations since then. Hopefully someone can help you out because I’m curious now too. I’ve spent about 10 minutes trying to find your answer but most of that was just looking at listings.

I believe that stamp dates from the latter half of the 1960s, 65-69.

Here is my 1980 version, Case stamping in same style as the pocketknives, yours is definitely pre-1980, I also think late 1960’s as mentioned by Arathol.
