Fixed EDC concealed

I am looking to transfer from a folder to fixed blade. Must be able to go inside waist band. Looking at Toor Jank Shank, bastinelli chopper or bastinelli Sin? Any recommendations or any other I missed.

I recommend a Carothers DEK1. There was one that sold earlier today on the forum. You can catch one for sale once in a while. There will be more for sale after the latest pre-order starts shipping out. I have a DEK2 coming. It is a little thicker and wider than the DEK1. There will probably be some sold on the CPK Friday sales in a few months or so.

I just thought I'd ask, since your profile says Anaheim, California, but are you aware that carrying a concealed fixed-blade is illegal in California?

The chances of getting caught might be small, but the consequences if you do get caught are somewhat severe, especially for anyone who owns knives and guns.

Sounds like you need sheath/carry recommendations, more than knife recommendations.

Any fixed blade (within reason) can be carried IWB with the right set-up.
This, what shane45-1911 shane45-1911 said, is first and foremost. And, is this truly for edc tasks or self defense? I ask because the brands/knives you mentioned tend to cater toward the self defense crowd and IWB carry method seems to also coincide with this type of thing.

For edc I’ve carried ESEE Izula and candiru, Becker bk11 & bk14, Buck Paklite, LT Wright Frontier First and Frontier Vally. All of these are perfect for me and my needs, I would definitely recommend. There are many others out there but I have no experience with them.

transfer from a folder
Unless you go very big or some double edged special fighting knife and have the requisite skills to really use them to best advantage , you are probably just as well off sticking with a suitable folder , IMO .

Assuming your primary concern is for SD ?

Any Spyderco Mule w/Halpern scales and a Spyderco Bolatron sheath will do.

And, yes, it is "illegal" to carry any fixed blade knife (as well as any open folder) concealed in CA.

Risk of detection and arrest for this is minimal but it would definitely be an "add-on" charge is arrested for something else and (absent anything else) would be the basis for a citation or arrest based on a legal "stop & frisk."

Illegally carrying a fixed blade knife concealed is a "wobbler" and the LEO has the option of charging it as a misdeamenor or felony. A felony charge can be challenged but not before you've already been arrested and booked.

Update. I do not live in CA anymore. I escaped to Texas. I am 6' and 175 pounds. I carry concealed as well. Just looking to try a fixed blade knife instead of the folders. Just looking for recommendations
But, as to your purposes. Are you looking for mainly a good self-defense with some utility use, a 50/50 split, or mainly utility but also can serve in a SD situation? I ask cause the knives you show interest in are SD related.

Either way, I'd recommend a straight-blade Wharncliffe, like a Spyderco Ronin, but not that specifically, plenty of folks do it. It's a great cutter, and a great defender, from what I have been able to ascertain from people who have been studying this sort of thing for a long time.

If I was just going with something easy to find, I would say anything from LT Wright or Bradford, both high quality with designs and sizes to fit your needs.

If I wanted to spend a little more, I would take a long look at Wilmont Knives. I have a K25 and a Mini Persian Fighter. Both are excellent smaller edc fixed blades and are great for edc/utility tasks, with the mini persian also being a good design for SD.
