when I got it the step from the blade to edge had a huge ridge down it, I guess from the recurve getting done. It now has a brand new edge profile and it works well. Sliced right thru a coke can with no disfiguring of the can at all, just a real clean cut.

sweet rat mojo mark, I'll bet its one of your true favorites
and what, a coke can! ..that rat would take on a 55gal. drum, from the inside out:D :D

Nice! It looks like a two step bevel; a primary and an edge bevel. What did you use to profile it, and what are the angles?

I used a Edge Pro, started on the very lowest level 10deg I think. Went from 120 grit to 3000 grit. Then went to 17.5 deg and recut the edge to that, and took it to 600 grit, and stropped it with some flitz impregnated leather.

OK, thanks. I am thinking of reprofiling my RW. If that CT Mojo is a user, let us know how that profile holds up.
