Hey guys,

Whats a good fixed blade every day carry knife? I have significantly thinned my collection to pay for some things, my emerson folding karambit that I used for EDC included, and I need something new, under 50 bucks, preferably fixed blade, to use as an EDC. Any recommendations? Thanks!!

At 50 for edc you are limited but the Izula fits the bill and I am sure many others will say the same

How is the handle on this? I bought an rc-3 once, but the handle was too small for my hand, and I ended up exchanging it for an RC-5...which I loved, but never used and ended up selling. Too big of a knife for me current uses. Hopefully I will own another of those some day.

Don't forget about some of the buck knives, cold steel, mora's are also a popular choice, look at the buck 119, might be to big. Case knives, specifically a case little finn, or an older OT sharpfinger maybe.

What would you guys recommend for a budget of 100? 150? Without considering a budget?

Lots of nice customs pop up in makers area on this site, some in that price range.
A Greco Whisper or Greco Gambler's Bowie can be got in the low 100.00 area or less.
I have the Gambler's Bowie with stag handle and belt stud sheath.
5inch carbon blade, full tang with a small stainless double guard.
Great every day carry weapon IMO.I prefer belt stud sheaths.

I really like my "mykulmorris" file knives. They are priced pretty reasonably and it is not something that other people are going to have.

I would take a look at Entrek knives. They have several 4.0" to 4.5" bladed knives, that come in kydex sheaths. I had the Cobra, a 4.0" clip point blade, that was excellent. The handles were fine, and I usually don't go for small handles. Check them out at www.knifesupply.com
