Fixed ideas?

So, with summer, I find myself around the campfire, fire pit, BBQ, and preparing lots of food... It got me thinking about fixed blades, of course. I missed out on the Mule--waited too long; what I found myself wanting was a Mule sized Appalachian, v-ground.

Any fixed blade ideas on your mind? Let's see if we can inspire the good folks at EKI!

If there was a fixed version of the Tiger, I would definitely own it as a backup to my personal carry. It's just too good of a knife.

Ha Rolf, me too! It's just that a stone washed, v grind, chisel edge fixed Appalachian was haunting my dreams...

I've love to see a Commander fixed blade with a 4-5" blade and a Zealot fixed blade with a 4" cutting edge.

Sounds good Rev--a Commander that size would be about the same as my Ubr, and would make an excellent belt knife.

The Timberline/EKI collab fixed blade model was really cool. I forget the name, Aviator?? I liked the smaller version.

Not sure I've ever seen that one, Rolf. PUK is interesting, had not considered that either. For the last three weeks I've only used my Busse Game Warden and my CQC-15... And it's mostly been my GW getting the majority of the work (I'm traveling), and 2.5" of infi has done it all... Food prep, some wood work, and I used it to shave pvc paneling (helping my father-in-law work on his home's exterior), and it even accidentally cut a nail in half I was trying to pry...

That said, a fixed 15 would make a pretty sweet blade too.

Yeah, and to tell you the truth, I'm a little surprised at just how "big" this little knife works out to be. As for the 15, the blade shape works as a fighter and is very utilitarian... But for most tasks I still prefer the commander.
