Alright your mission should you choose to accept it, is this, choose one from each catagory, and let us know what you would pick to fit the bill, the restrictions are as follows,

All must be production blades, a fixed blade $200 or less, a locker $150 or less, and a slipjoint $100 or less.

Fixed blade: Cold Steel Carbon V Trail Master $179

Locker: 804 - AFCK-II $120

Slipjoint: 810 Sm. Stockman $95

Fixed Blade - Marbles Fieldcraft: The best combination of blade strength and cutting efficiency I've found in a fixed blade.

Locker - Camillus talonite EDC: A talonite blade that a person can actually afford, coupled with a knife design that will prove to be legendary.

Slipjoint - A.G. Russell Cattaraugus Rope Knife (Seconds) - I can't pick up this knife without feeling like I should have payed more.
 
With the price limitations:

Fixed Blade - BM Nimravus and you'd have enough money to buy a decent sheath.

Slipjoint - Garant Lagiole, just a great little knife, been carrying one for over three years.

Linerlock - Microtech M-Socum, the best MT for the money.

Now increase the price limitations by $100 each and it would be an entirely different story.
