Grommets are threaded so all acc can be removed. Scout carry can change to belt carry by removing four screws and attaching loop. I don't seem to be able to be able to make a thin leather sheath. The small ones I've made for buck 110 don't appeal to me as well. It must be the stable platform of stacking leather that helps make stitching and such easier. Although the waxed thread I used on this was so tacky and thick. Made a Frickin mess.

When ya get thread like that burnish it with a piece of paper bag first. That little trick helps alot.

Dave is right. He mentioned one other time amount the paper bag to burnish thread. I do it and it works great.
Makael, that's a nice sturdy lookin sheath..

That sheath is very nice. I like your idea of the threaded grommets giving your sheath more options and adaptability. It sort of looks like something you'd see a fantasy figure in a movie might wear. Cool! [emoji41]

I searched Bushcraft sheaths. Found Hedgehog Sheaths and was truly impressed. I did not see any stacked leather versions so I decided to try it.
