fixed victorinox

Probably would do just fine as a general purpose camp knife. Victorinox SAKs are great slicers because their blades are so thin, not because they use super-steel.
This knife is one I'd try out if I were in the market for another fixed blade, mostly because I trust Wenger and Victorinox to pproduce decent quality, very durable tools.
For the same money, though, you could get a Mora from Ragnar at www.ragweedforge.com, and have a very similar knife with a blade made of laminated carbon steel.

Peace.
Alex.

Can't seem to link to swiss-knife.com url over the past hour or so -
which Muela knife is it, please?

I'm a bit surprised that Victorinox has to have another manufacturer make a fixed blade knife for them - since Victorinox are world famous for fixed blades - at least in their kitchen and butchering range

UnknownVT, in that photo it's knife #4, the smallest one (the only one that's not a "rambo" style knife).
