iawoodsman strikes again with another good improvisation in the field vid.

iawoodsman, if you are out there, I know you have a vid on making a hawk handle from a branch, but how about an axe/hatchet handle?

I carry a Busse:D

Ditto's. I have a mora that I like ok but I would not want to have to rely on it in a pinch.

Having said that I enjoyed the video. One observation, not criticism is that folks need not apologize for cutting down a piece of green wood. For crying out loud. If some one has a problem with that I would suggest they take it else where. I just got done using my stihl to take down four trees an hour ago. Harvesting wood, for various reasons is part of living close to the land. As with everything common sense should rule the day.

Thanks for the post.

Cool, keep up the good work and thank you for your service to the community.

You are welcome.I do'nt think it is much of a service. I am just a goof that likes to go to the woods. But thanks.

Josh the reason I explain the cutting green wood thing is preemptive. It helps to stop the arguments that can occur on the web. I post to have fun not argue.
