Something I did a few weeks back on a butcher knife that was a gift,
to eliminate a bit of a hazard. Would have never thought to do this until I found this forum.
1) Define the cut by drawing the outline of a coin with a sharpie.
2) Use a Dremel with a diamond cutting wheel.
3) It only took a few minutes to get to here.
4) The stone wheel to finish the final shape
5) Final shape before some very light emery paper
6) Then a coat of Minwax wipe-on Poly Satin on the handle
