Fixing blade play on a Schrade 340t?

So I found a great bargain on a 340t this week at an antique store. Someone apparently thought it was only worth ten bucks as it was blackened and covered with what appeared to be melted wax. A little cleaning, and she's good as new! The only thing wrong is a little play in the main blade. My question is this: can I fix the blade play? I've done this on other slipjoints by pinching the bolster gently in a vice...good idea with the Schrade? Is there another method, or should I just get over it? (the play really isn't bad, and it was a steal even with he issue)

Thanks,

Frosty

You should be fine gently squeezing it in a vice. I have used a drop of Loctite in the joint of several of my slip joints that had play, and it worked great. As a matter of fact, I just got a yellow Case peanut for father's day that had a little play, and I used this method. I've even heard of some people using a drop of super glue.
