I bought a boker epicenter a few weeks ago and I love the darn thing to death but it suffers from the infamous lock rock. Is there anything I could do to help fix it? Would carbidizing the lockface aid in the lock slip?

A little more lock bar pressure could help. It has fixed a few loose locks for me. All you gotta do is bend the lock bar in a little more (no more than a few millimeters) and see if it helps. If not, I have heard carbidizing fixing lock rock, but not always. It is kind of a crapshoot.

Check the services offered section. I know a few people here carbidize, I just can't think of anybody's name.
