ever notice tyhat when you try to fix one think on a truck you find that you need to fix more them you bargned for.

neeed new motor mounts ok no problem bet that the trans mounts could be loooked at to
yep there shot
order everpart i thought i needed only to find thatwhile changing the trans mounts that the bracket that goes from mount to trans is broke .

not jsut a little its a piece of steel 3/16-1/4 thick and like 3 inch wide and it was snaped off and muct ahve been like that for some time

oo gee i guess thats how the other mounts got shot like they did .


eck and if that wasnt bad the lights went out o me last nigh while drivign home

replaced the switch only to see that the wire plug thing was half melted

now i have to find out if its a wire think on the truck that over heated things or if when the switch tok a dump that it melted things for me

i still love my old truck jsut sucks haveing to fix it now and then

haha i feal ya man. i have a little 86 s10 that i love to death, but is def starting to show her age. good luck buddy( oh yeah check the brakes mine went out while i was doin like 60 on the way to class one morning short of gettinf shot at that was the biggest oh shi* moment in my life) good luck man

That sucks man. Send me some pictures of the busted bracket. I'd bet we could fab one up out of scraps in no time and for less $$ than buying another one.

too late to take the picture and a beer too many any how but you know i realy hav enot spent much on my 3000$ truck that i got 4 years ago
jsut sucks when you have $ earmarked and it has to go to fixing things that run like that thread you pull from a shirt that seem to runn forever
