Looking at the Vidda Pro Regular pants. I've wanted them for a long time, however the sizing is quite confusing.

Here's the site/product.

If I'm a 30" waist, what size should I be getting. Does anybody have experience with their pants and the sizing/fit?

Thanks for your time.

Cheers.

I love my Vidda Pro pants. You'll have them for a long time, best made pants I own! As for sizing, its a bit of a pain in the butt. If your a size 30" waist, you'll want them in 44. I did find I needed to go up a size though from ordinary north american sizing. If you can try them on somewhere do that first or find out if they have a good return policy if they don't fit right. I was glad I tried them on first. Saved me from having to send them back if I ordered them online. Good luck!

Thank you! I really appreciate you taking the time to respond. Happy to hear that the Vidda Pros get high praise as well.

Do you mind me asking how you came up with size 44 for a 30" waist?

Also, thanks for the other advise, re going up a size. I wish I could try them on first, before ordering.

isn't it just in centimeters, 44 to 30 seems like its just a metric measurement, instead of inches.

for a pair of pants that expensive I think I would blow a buck or two on a measuring tape in centimeters.

Look like nice pants.

30" to cm would be 76cm. Fjallraven uses European sizing, which is 42, 44, 46 - up to 60. With out their chart online I would have had no idea what size to get.

well there you have it, look at the chart, its European sizing.

I think our (American) sizing seems a bit easier to deal with.

Thanks for the info.

Quality clothes, but they're "made in Europe" prices made in China or some other third world sweatshop. They even have the gall to sew the swedish flag next to it.
