Hi there, haven't posted anything for some time. Got myself a Taranis from FKMD Fox knives Italy the other day. It's a no nonsense almost 8" clip point 0.2" thick, semi-full tang*
*Ok what do I mean by semi-full? Well wider than a stick tang for sure and plenty strong enough. I have a similar knife from them and have stood (76Kg) across the blade and it (the tang) just flexes!
Böhler's N690, super sharp out of the box as usual for their stuff in my experience.
One piece Forprene grip, not the most comfortable but certainly non slip and zero twist unless you have some weakling hand grip strength LOL. Great blade shape, well why wouldn't it be, it's a classic design and coated with super long and hard wearing Idroglider PTFE. LOL I wouldn't be surprised if that Idroglider is similar to the stuff they use in coating cooking pans LOL.
It's really just a tough beater.
Molle scabbard, hard inner liner.
Good chopper to BTW, probably due in part to the offset tang and just a big chunk of 0.2" steel.
Anyway i like it, I guess that's why i got it.
Anyway here are some pi
cs.
